After more than a decade as a consultant for prominent healthcare companies, Arthur Vera launched Zuniga Health, LLC. Arthur is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Chicago and Harvard University. He has over twenty-five years of experience in healthcare benefits and information technology.

Zuniga Health was founded as a tribute to Arthur Vera’s grandfather, Alfonso Zuniga who immigrated from Guanajuato, Mexico to Chicago, Illinois and opened Alfonso Grocery in 1929 near the historic district, The Maxwell Street Market. For thirty years, Arthur’s grandfather served the multi-cultural community also known as the Ellis Island of the Midwest. Arthur is proud to continue his grandfather’s legacy of serving working families. At Zuniga Health, we are passionate about delivering affordable health benefits to a diverse community.

We believe that healthcare should have a personalized approach. That is why we’ve partnered with MedWatch. Through our partnership with MedWatch's Pathways Concierge service, members and providers have one phone number to call for questions regarding their medical benefits, billing, provider steerage to high quality healthcare providers/facilities, medical/surgical procedures, prescriptions and more.
